Laptop Donation Closes Distance to Learn

Tiffany has been a hard working student ever since she started attending Adult Basic Education (ABE) classes at Mercer Street Friends. Balancing work in the health care field and academics, she has successfully passed 2 parts of the Test Assessing Secondary Completion (TASC) High School Equivalency Exam.

Tiffany was on track to take the next part of TASC when COVID-19 hit our area and quarantine changed everything.

Tiffany has not been able to participate in distance learning up until now but that is about to change! A refurbished laptop courtesy of Mercer Street Friends has made its way into her capable hands and we see many Zoom study sessions in her future.

The future looks bright for this future graduate!
