Courtney Matlock joined Mercer Street Friends in August 2022. In her role as Chief Development and Marketing Officer, she leads the execution of the organization’s fundraising and communications strategies, successfully growing support and overseeing both internal and external communications.
Prior to joining Mercer Street Friends, Courtney served as Senior Director of Development for United Way of Greater Mercer County where she led the organization in diversifying its funding and played a pivotal role in expanding nutrition and higher education resources for low- and moderate-income families. In addition to fundraising, Courtney’s professional portfolio includes volunteer development, Higher Ed admissions, and a corporate career in marketing and strategic forecasting. A community organizer, Courtney also plays a key role in building strategic partnerships across Mercer County; expanding access to resources for area families.
Courtney holds an MBA in International Business from Schiller International University, Paris, France and a BA in Economics from Rutgers, New Brunswick. She currently serves on the board of Trinity Counseling Services and on the advisory committees of HiTops and WorkWell. Courtney lives in Lawrenceville with her sons Myles, Jordan, and Spencer.
