During the federal SNAP freeze, Mercer Street Friends worked diligently to bridge the SNAP Gap, through three emergency food distributions, we served 1,270 Mercer County families, distributing hundreds Community Food Bags – along with fresh Jersey produce and eggs – totaling 42,250 pounds of food.
