Mercer Street Friends was proud to host Lt. Governor Tahesha Way of New Jersey for a special Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service event. Lt. Gov. Way spent time packing our crucial Send Hunger Packing (SHUP) bags alongside volunteers from local youth community organizations in Trenton and Mercer County. This collaborative effort helped to strengthen our mission and continue to serve the needs of our Mercer County community.
