Mercer Street Friends Board of Trustees appoints two new leaders to the Board this month. The new members are Gerald Delk and Bill Heinemann.
Ken Blackwell, Chair of the Board, shared, “The Mercer Street Friends Board of Trustees welcomes two exceptional leaders. Gerald and Bill bring unique skills, experiences, and vision to the organization. We are pleased to have Gerald join us and to have Bill returning to the Board.”
Gerald Delk, Vice President of Education for Church Pension Group in New York, NY, stated, “I look forward to working with the Board and staff to continue building on Mercer Street Friends’ legacy of service to our communities.”
Bill Heinemann, Partner of Espenshade Consulting for Nonprofits, said “I am happy to be joining the Board of Trustees, again. Mercer Street Friends has a long-standing commitment to the people of Trenton and surrounding communities. Grounded in Quaker values of community, equality, and the inherent worth of every person, the organization has improved lives through education, nutrition, and family support.”
