Dr. Pamela Pruitt

Pamela Pruitt, Ed.D., has served as Strategic Partnerships Manager for the Capital Health Institute for Urban Care (IUC) in Trenton, New Jersey, since 2023. She previously served for 10 years as Executive Director of the Center for Diversity and Inclusion at Rider University in Lawrenceville, New Jersey. Dr. Pruitt is also President of The Next Level Consulting, LLC, where she provides consulting services in development, marketing, public relations, and diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging.

Dr. Pruitt earned her doctorate in Higher Education Management from the University of Pennsylvania and her master’s degree in Communication from Rutgers University. She also holds a bachelor’s degree and associate degree in Communications from Thomas Edison State University and an Executive Certificate in Public Leadership from Harvard Kennedy School.

A recognized community leader in Trenton, Dr. Pruitt serves on the boards of Mercer Street Friends, Trenton Health Team, the Capital Area YMCA, McCarter Theatre, and the Princeton Mercer Regional Chamber of Commerce. She is also a past chair of the Northeast Tri-State Chapter of the National Association of Diversity Officers in Higher Education.
