Summer Bridge Program Featured in The Trentonian

Mercer Street Friends’ Summer Bridge Program is making an impact beyond the classroom! The Trentonian recently highlighted the program’s end-of-summer celebration at Martin Luther King Jr. Middle School, showcasing how students spent their summer learning, growing, and building community.

As part of Mercer Street Friends’ Community Schools Initiative, the Summer Bridge Program provides students with opportunities to stay engaged academically while participating in enriching activities and experiences designed to help them return to school ready to learn and thrive.
