Bill has been involved with Mercer Street Friends since the mid-1990’s. After volunteering at a committee level, he first joined the Board of Trustees in 2005, continued on to serve as Board Chair from 2010 to 2014, and began another term of service in 2022. A Robert M. Appelbaum Service Award honoree, Bill believes in Mercer Street Friends’ long-standing commitment to the people of Trenton and surrounding communities that is grounded in the Quaker values of community, equality, and the inherent worth of every person. His career led him through software engineering, project management and company management to presently consulting nonprofits as he resides in Brookline, Massachusetts.
