Summer Bridge 2026 Report Card

This summer, more than 300 Mercer Street Friends Community School students participated in the Summer Bridge Program, building academic skills, confidence, and momentum for the year ahead.

Across five Community School sites in Trenton and Hamilton, students spent their summer strengthening foundational skills in literacy and mathematics through engaging, targeted instruction.

And the grades are in! The data highlights students’ growth from pre- to post-assessment, including increases in the percentage of students reading on grade level and demonstrating math proficiency, along with strong attendance across all five schools!
