Mercer Street Friends Welcomes New Directors to Leadership Team
Tiknika Nollie and Ramiz Thomas Join Mercer County Nonprofit
Mercer Street Friends, a nonprofit serving Mercer County through food, family and education programs, announced the addition of two new appointments to its Senior Leadership Team. Tiknika Nollie has been named Talent and Strategic Initiatives Director and Ramiz Thomas has been announced as Food Bank Operations Director.
“As Mercer Street Friends continues to grow its programs and expand its reach across Mercer County, these additions to our exceptional leadership team will help us strengthen our ability to serve our neighbors,” said Randall West, CEO, Mercer Street Friends. “Tiknika and Ramiz bring to us relevant and local experience coupled with knowledge of the greater Trenton area that complements our mission of nourishing minds and bodies and empowering families and communities.”
Tiknika Nollie, Talent and Strategic Initiatives Director, previously served as Senior Manager of Human Resources and Administration for the Trenton Health Team, where she partnered with leadership to advance employee engagement and organizational effectiveness. Her comprehensive HR background spans employee relations, talent acquisition, performance management and policy development. She earned an MBA with a concentration in Organizational Leadership from Eastern University, and a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management from Strayer University. In her role, Nollie will help support the organization’s continued growth by strengthening internal systems, employee engagement and strategic initiatives.
Ramiz Thomas, Food Bank Operations Director, worked for Central Aluminum Supply in Trenton, where his roles earned him experience in the areas of production management, warehouse, shipping/receiving and fleet. A graduate of Trenton Central High School, Thomas is a lifelong resident of Mercer County and is deeply invested in the community. A mentor at the Trenton Area YMCA, he has previously served on the board of the Word to the World Community Development Center. Thomas will play a key role in ensuring Mercer Street Friends’ food distribution operations continue to meet increasing demand throughout Mercer County.
Mercer Street Friends, the Feeding America Food Bank of Mercer County and the lead agency for the Community Schools initiative in Mercer County, provides a growing number of services to lift up the region’s youth and families, including free preschool, adult education and family engagement opportunities.
